Hi there, Its me again....sharing a handmade album I have been playing with today.  I made this album out of the white pages Phone book.....And today I worked on the background of the cover.

I used LOTS of Enamelz- In all the colours

Some Shimmerzy Goodness...

Hi there! Louise here with my first Shimmerz video (please be gentle!!)... I've been having a play and have to say I'm a complete addict to these gorgeous paints and sprays. Shimmerz and Petaloo Flower Frame

Isn't Spring wonderful? All the flowers in the garden make my heart sing. It is also blooming here at Shimmerz! I've really enjoyed playing around with my Shimmerz and Petaloo flowers. In my video, I show you how to decorate a metal frame that I purchased at Target using white Petaloo flowers and Shimmerz Spritz and Pearlz.

The technique is very simple, but the results are stunning.

Painted Art Quilt- Part 1

Hi everyone! It's Lucy here to share with you the beginning of a three part video series, detailing my process of creating this painted mini art quilt.






Here are some close-ups and the supply list, for you to get started on your own. Of course, you are welcome to change any colors or the design. I'd love to see your interpretation!

Shimmerz Paints: Key Lime, Sunny, Jilted Jade
Shimmerz Blingz: Pixie Dust, Hottie Pink, Gold Glimmer
Shimmerz Spritz: 4 Leaf Clover
Canvas
Various scrapbook paper and flowers - I used Prima
Circle Template and Number Templates or Stencils
Cotton Batting
Backing fabric
Fabric Glue - Fabri-Tac

Basic supplies: scissors, thread, paint brushes

Monoprinting with Pearlz

Monoprinting is a serendipitous affair, be prepared to let the paint do what it wants to create some amazing effects! I played with some of the new Shimmerz Pearlz to create a random, blended background.



Here's how I did it........



To create this background I used the new Shimmerz Pearlz - Ballet Slipper, Grey Flannel, Pearl and Morning Mist.
