Today I made some cute little place card settings for my daughters birthday party on Sunday.
I saw a cute little punched butterfly wedged between the prongs of a fork on Pinterest and thought the idea was really cute, so I adapted the concept for our party place settings.
Hi there, I have been playing with some Shimmerz Paints again today.
Here's what I created.....
Some simple techniques used in this page. Some masking and dipping paper in the paint, and some splattering using the unscrewed "sprayer"......
watch to see what I did!
Very simple to change and alter items to match a page with Mists and paints.
Oh and there is something new coming from Shimmerz......
Keep your eyes peeled....this is very EXCITING!!!
Ok.....That's all from me today....
Have a lovely Monday :-)
Scraps of Paper, GCD Studios- "Soul Food"
Faber-Castell PITT Artist pen Big Brush
EK Success Disney's Tinkerbell stickers
Sandlion, Kelly Pannacci "Two of a Kind" stickers
This month, we have a word, and that word is GREEN.
For this video, I used a scrap of DENIM jeans that were headed for the garbage. They were too grungy to give away, so I salvaged a piece and made it into a focal point on my layout.
TIP: You can take any Shimmerz Paint, a stamp, and try it on FABRIC!
Congratulations go out to our very own Bethany Kartchner. She not only had her amazing art work published, but a whole article in the Jan/Feb edition of Somerset Studios on her Shimmerz technique. This a HUGE accomplishment and we are so proud of her! Congratulations BETHANY!!!
