A Sweet, Spring, Canvas

Today I thought we would create a spring-y time canvas, that includes creating some clouds using texture mediums and beautiful colors from Shimmerz.

Here is the a peek at what we will be doing today...

and here is the colors that I used!

To create the entire canvas you will also need:

a 6x6 canvas

strips of neutral colored cardstock

an acrylic bird cut out

molding paste

bead gel

gesso

paintbrushes

heat gun

liquid adhesive

Love Wall Decor

Hello everyone! It's time for me to share a video tutorial with all of you Shimmerz fans here! Today's video tutorial will show you how I've created a "Love" Wall Decor filled with tons of textures and dimension.

Guest Designer, Jamie Dougherty!

It thrills me today, to introduce this months Guest Designer, Jamie Dougherty! Not only is she a friend of mine, but she is brilliant when it comes to using and incorporating paint into her breathtaking mixed media artwork! Here is a little bit more about Jamie in her own words...

"I've been creating art since my late teens. Expanding my mediums helps me stay creative and put my best work out there. I am a Prima Educator and Designer and teach classes ranging from scrapbooking to mixed media, with fine arts techniques. I love working with Prima, Ranger Inks, Canvas Corp., PanPastels, and many many others!! :) I also am a writer and enjoy the change in creativity. Hi there!

Thinking Spring!
